How does Sunshine work?

Open Sunshine in your browser, customize your character, and step into your virtual office. As your character moves through the 2D world, proximity to a colleague triggers an automatic video call — just slide your avatar over, say hey, and keep the momentum going. The office has zones for every work mode: meeting rooms that activate a group call on entry, deep-work areas where calls are blocked, and casual chat zones for informal conversation.

How much does Sunshine cost?

Two weeks of a unified culture — on us. Sunshine is free for the first 14 days with 1-minute onboarding and no credit card required. After the trial, virtual offices are $14 per person per month. Annual billing includes 2 months free.

What is the difference between Sunshine and Gather Town?

Claim your desk. Build your culture. You can customize your character's appearance (hair, eyes, outfit) and your personal desk. Admins use the built-in world editor to design the office layout, create department zones, add meeting rooms, place decorative items, and expand the world as the team grows.

Sunshine supports muting, camera on/off, screen sharing, noise cancellation, world view, grid view, and fullscreen mode. Calls start automatically from proximity — no meeting links or calendar invites needed.
